I spent all day in the kitchen yesterday and I’m starting to think that a hot kitchen could be a more affordable version of a sauna. Today I’m on oven strike, so out came the slow cooker. This Slow Cooker Balsamic Chicken Thighs recipe is so easy, delicious and has no added sugar ๐ย Stay cool out there!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Dried Parsley
- 2 tsp Dried Minced Onion
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 5 Chicken Thighs, bone-in, skin on
- 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the olive oil and minced garlic to the slow cooker. Spread it out (the chicken will eventually sit on top).
In a small bowl combine the garlic powder, dried parsley, dried minced onion, salt and pepper.
Sprinkle over both sides of the chicken.
Add the chicken to the slow cooker, skin side up.
Pour the balsamic vinegar over the chicken.
Use the lid of the slow cooker to cover it, but leave it off-kilter so it vents the slow cooker.
Cook on high for 3.5 hours or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165 degrees.
