My Favorite Cranberry Sauce
Zest of 1 Orange
(1 scant cup = slightly less than 1 cup)
Fresh or Frozen
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the orange juice, water and sugar over high heat until it boils.
Add in the cranberries, orange zest, salt and cinnamon and bring back to a boil.
Lower the heat to medium and let the mixture cook for 10 minutes, stirring with a rubber spatula frequently.
Remove from heat to let cool. Serve warm or at room temperature.
